It's located inside H Mart Paramus. Traditional Korean food such as tofu pot and bibimbap. The food is flavorful and big portion. The lady is always nice and friendly. They call out numbers when the food is ready. They have tables and seats in the food court. Some high stools too. We usually order for takeouts.
This is located in the food court of Hmart in Paramus but once in the seating area, it feels like a restaurant. It was comfortable and lighting was bright enough yet dim compared to your bright supermarket lights. Service was good, we got everything we needed at the counter and they were courteous to our requests for bowls, utensils, etc. We ordered the beef tofu stew with udon and I must say that it was very comforting. The dish did not come out in the traditional stew pot and instead came in a large bowl which I thought was weird. We figured it was to accommodate the large portion of udon that we added on for $2.99. Prices were fair and it the soup was very on point. We ordered close to when they were closing up and the kitchen staff were very kind and smiled and said goodnight as they left. So if you're in the area and want to do some shopping at Hmart, definitely stop by for some comfort stew! Their kimchi btw was very good, spicy, but very good if you can tolerate that.
So yeah, I've totally been sleeping on Hot Stone BBQ...D*mn, this unassuming spot is awesome! You get your bang for your buck here; it's good value for your money spent! I normally only stop inside the food court at the Paramus H Mart for Mochinut, but today I decided to get eats for me and my partner before grocery shopping. Bulgogi bibimbap combo for me, and a Tofu bibimbap for him. They came out in stone bowls. Generous banchan. Food was fresh, flavorful, and hit the spot. Vegetarian Tip: The Tofu bibimbap is safe to get. When you order, say you want it vegan and they'll give you the cucumber and seaweed as your fixins. Also, you cannot get the small tofu with a combo because the broth is fish-based. My stone bowl came out with kimchi, fish cake, and cucumber on the side. When you get the small tofu, you get a choice - I went with vegetables - and you'll be asked how spicy. The combo definitely hit the spot today and was just right. Make sure you bring back your tray to the restaurant. The people working there were also very nice and friendly. Recommended for sure!
